Our passion for interior design and decoration has inspired us to create furniture that, with its exceptional designs, can perfect or transform existing interior styles. We see Homecation not just as a brand for designer furniture, but as a lifestyle that allows you to create spaces where you can relax and enjoy your time.
Furthermore, a certain degree of multi-functionality is important to us, so that the furniture can be used in a variety of ways and can create a new feeling of space with just a few simple adjustments.
Our values
Our guiding principle is timeless designs for responsible and intelligent consumption through durable products and designs.
All products are manufactured in the Dittus wood manufactory's own carpentry workshop in Ammerbuch, half an hour south of Stuttgart, thus supporting the expertise built up over generations. From the initial design to the final touch, each object is imbued with a unique character through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. The products are manufactured using both automated and handcrafted processes.
Everything is optimized for the diverse, in-house manufacturing capabilities and is 100% Made in Germany.
Johannes Breuer Design x Homecation
Homecation was founded in Stuttgart in 2024 by Sandra Bauermeister as a new brand for contemporary furniture and objects. It began with the vision of a vacation at home. The feeling of being comfortable not only on holiday abroad, but also in everyday life. Dolce Vita on dreary Mondays. The functional objects with their friendly character always bring a little joy. Especially when they are used, but also simply by their presence in the room.
The design of the products by Johannes Breuer Design followed very clear principles.
Clear and visually appealing, everything from Homecation has an unmistakably friendly soul – simple without being austere. Strong in character, yet unobtrusive and adaptable. The spirit of Italian design from the 60s and 70s is palpable, yet the design focused on the future, not just the past. Behind every piece of furniture lie dozens of decisions and a great deal of dedication, ensuring that no detail was overlooked.
